A Ugandan maid caught on video beating a toddler has been sentenced to four years in jail by a Chief Magistrate court judge in Kampala. The 22 year-old Jolly Tumuhiirwe, pleaded guilty to the crime of assault last week during her appearance before Chief Magistrate Lillian Bucyana. Ms. Tumuhiirwe was captured on CCTV as she tortured the poor child Arnella Kamanzi in her father’s home in Naalya suburb on Kampala in November.
