Saucy Italians' nude breast selfies posted online all in the name of science

Half naked Italian women have taken a twist on the selfie craze by capturing their cleavage in a bid to promote scientific breakthroughs. Scores of the scantily clad ladies have begun posting their pictures onto a specialised blog in their underwear for the new 'Boobs for Science' campaign. Set up by 30-year-old web marketer Lara Tait, the website aims to inform others about the scientific developments. The blog, which has almost 19,000 likes on Facebook, asks women to take a selfie of their breasts and pose alongside a sign which promotes a scientific message. It was all started with the first image of a woman's breasts with the caption "25 per cent of Italians deny the theory of evolution. In the UK it's 60 per cent." Ms Tait claims the theory behind it is to encourage women to give their bodies to the service of science.
