Boko Haram Murders 32, Kidnaps 100 In Fresh Borno Attack
Reports making the rounds suggest that the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram has last Sunday killed 32 people and kidnapped as many as 100 people in a deadly attack it carried out on Gumsuri village in Borno state.
AFP quotes two officials of the Borno State government who while confirming the raid stated that the villagers were still counting those abducted, adding that the number of those abducted who were mostly women and children could exceed 100.
One of the sources, Mukhtar Buba, who fled Gumsuri to Maiduguri, the Borno state capital revealed that, “After killing our youths, the insurgents have taken away our wives and daughters.”
