SHOCKING PICTURES: TODDLER GETS BITTEN BY ANIMAL 'TAPIR' AT DUBLIN ZOO

Doctors have revealed the shocking injuries inflicted on a two-and-a-half year old girl by a Brazilian Tapir at Dublin Zoo.
The pig-sized beast turned on the toddler pinning her to the ground and biting and shaking her when the little girl was on a behind the scenes tour of the animals' enclosure.
Her mother rushed to rescue her and was bitten twice, reports the Irish Mirror.
The girl sustained deep cuts to her arm, four wounds to her abdomen, cuts to her forehead and multiple stomach lacerations.

It goes beyond saying that everyone should be careful while on a zoo tour.
