Khloe donned a long-sleeved black crop-top crew neck sweatshirt over a fitted black T-shirt.  She finished off the look with a black and white pair of Nike sneakers, and wore her blonde locks pulled up into a ponytail.

Bird flu hits Katsina

An outbreak of bird flu has been reported in two farms in Katsina State, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Adamu Manto Zango, has disclosed. Already, no fewer than five birds have died in the two farms.
Confirming the development to newsmen in Katsina, Zango said also that no fewer than 8,655 birds in the affected farms had been depopulated to curb the spread of the disease.
However, the commissioner said the state government had provided the ministry with enough facilities for the control of the outbreak.

Boko Haram bomber kills 15 in Yobe

No fewer than 15 people have been killed in another suicide attack at a motor park in Potiskum, Yobe State.
It was gathered that a suicide bomber, who disguised as a commuter yesterday, detonated explosive devices at Tashan Dan Borno motor park at about 11.45am.
Residents said the bomber, who alighted from a tricycle opposite the scene of the blast, walked into the busy motor park along Kano Road in Potiskum like other commuters unknown to many that he had a mission to accomplish.

Reports have started to gather steam that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, may be disqualified from contesting in the forthcoming general election.
According to reports by Naij, the Federal High Court, yesterday, fixed March 19 to commence the hearing on seven separate suits which were laid against the general.
However, both Buhari and the APC have maintained that they would not agree to accept the service of the court procedures which they said were not authentically served on them.
They questioned the propriety of Justice Adeniyi’s orders which had enabled the accusers to serve the original summons on them indirectly.

Calabar jailbreak: Eight inmates feared dead

There are indications that eight inmates may have died following the gun duel that ensued when prisoners attempted jailbreak at the Calabar Prison on Friday.

The inmates had at about 11am on the day disarmed two warders and successfully gained access to the prison’s armoury where they got 53 rifles with which they carried out their unsuccessful operation.

It was learnt that eight inmates died after sustaining bullet wounds during the battle that lasted over 40 minutes.

Alfa kills And shares friend’s body parts

An Alfa in the Badagry area of Lagos State, Fatai Afobaje, has been accused of conspiring with some security men in his area to kill his friend, Rafiu Suleiman.

The nude corpse of a lady was discovered a day after Valentine's day on Sunday Feb. 15th at Okwu village in Umunneato autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

The corpse had bruises all over, especially around the breasts and private parts, leading people to believe she was brutally raped and murdered. The identity of the victim or her age is still unknown. The people who discovered her body called the police who came to remove the corpse.

Fulani herdsmen accused of raping, killing woman

A mother of three, Mrs. Ayesi Balogun, was allegedly raped and killed on Saturday by some suspected Fulani herdsmen at Asa village in the Oja Odan area of theYewa North Local Government Area, Ogun State.

The victim was said to have been killed after being raped on her farm.

A statement in Abeokuta by the Ketu Advancement Front stated this on Monday.

It was signed by its coordinator and secretary, Kunle Abiose and Joseph Bankole respectively.

The statement, which had been sent to relevant security agencies in the state, read in part, “We, members of the Ketu Advancement Front want to register our strongest protest with the Governor Ibikunle Amosun-led government over the callous abdication of its constitutional responsibility of ensuring the security of lives of the Ketu people from wanton killing by marauding herdsmen.

Fire guts market in Benin

Tragedy struck at the popular Uselu Market on Ugbowo Road, in the Egor Local Government Area of Edo State, following a fire outbreak which gutted a section of the market.

It was gathered that the fire, which occurred at about 8.30pm on Monday, razed over 50 shops on Osamwonyi Street, although no life was reported lost.

While some of the affected traders struggled to salvage what was left of their wares, many others were seen bemoaning the damage done to goods reportedly worth millions of naira.

One of the traders, Mr. Chidera Nwakeze, explained that he recently stocked four shops with bags of rice, beans and other food items, but lost everything to the inferno.

TRICYCLE RIDER BURNT TO DEATH WHILE BEING CHASED BY THE POLICE IN ABUJA

There was confusion on Thursday in the Gudu area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, after a yet-to-be-identified tricycle rider was burnt to death in his tricycle.

It was learnt that the police were chasing the victim when he had an accident.

It was gathered that the residents of the area and friends of the victim began a protest until soldiers were deployed in the area to disperse the crowd.

An eyewitness, Bonario Nnags, declared that the incident happened around 6.30am.

He said, “It was around 6.30am. The policemen, who were in a van, were pursuing a keke NAPEP (tricycle) rider. As he was riding very fast, he suddenly lost control of the tricycle and the woman he was carrying fell out of the tricycle.
